Personalized and Timeless Studio Newborn Session
My first newborn session of 2018 was with this sweet baby boy, who was born just a few days after the New Year and promptly on his due date. Baby P was wide awake for most of his session, which is always fine with me. I love images in which baby is awake and alert. Because my approach to studio baby photography is a soft and natural look, it is not a problem if the infant is awake; in fact, I tend to prefer those alert images because they always seem more authentic to me.
Mom wanted to customize her newborn session, which I am always happy to do; I want each session to be unique, personal, and significant to each client. Mom brought along the most adorable little outfits for her sweet boy and I just love the neutral look of the cable knit deer swaddle set. Because Mr P was born a few days after New Year's, she also brought along a tassel and party hat set. I just love using wreaths around baby and the tassel set worked beautifully.
To mix things up a bit, I recently asked my amazingly talented husband to build me a wood pallet backdrop to incorporate into my newborn, birthday, and toddler sessions. Thankfully, he finished it just in time for me to use in this session. I just love the rustic, yet classic look of the backdrop; it was just perfect.
Here are a few of my favorites from the session.
Because I like to give my clients quality images and a personalized experience, I only book a few sessions per month. If you are interested in a session, contact me for more details.
