December is here and the holidays are right around the corner. My Fall calendar was jam packed this year with holiday sessions, newborns and family sessions. I feel like I blinked my eyes and the calendar jumped from September to December. It was so great to meet new clients and work with former clients again. I love everything about Fall sessions. The light is so gorgeous in November, the foliage is at its peak and the rich colors for wardrobe make images from this time of year really pop.

This recent session just might be my favorite session from the Fall 2021 season. Not only because I have worked with this family before, but because their session took place on a gorgeous November morning with an abundance of foliage at our location. To make things even better, my client dressed her family to the nines in a gorgeous and rich color palette, which she selected with the help of my styling service. y styling services are included in the price of every session.

When my client first messaged me, it was late in the holiday season. She wanted to schedule a last minute Fall family session in the foliage before she and her family moved out west to California. She wanted photos that commemorated her time here on the East coast. One of the things she said she would miss was the foliage and she wanted to make sure she had photos that capture the beauty of this time of year here in New York. This family is always a pleasure to work with. They are not only strikingly gorgeous, but they are so fun and easy to be around.

I will miss seeing this family annually and wish them the best fo luck in their next chapter in life. Here are a few of my favorites from the day.
