Most people book newborn sessions and a first birthday sessions, but so much happens between those two milestones. Baby’s develop so quickly in the first year and though each phase should be documented, the six month milestone is such a perfect time to schedule a photoshoot.

At six months, your baby’s personality is apparent. He is learning and growing daily. Babies are simply adorable at this phase and it truly is my favorite age to capture. Here are a few reasons why I encourage you to book a six-month milestone session.

Seriously, is there anything cuter than a chubby six month old baby? At this phase they are chock full of rolls on their wrists, tummies and thighs. As your child grows up, you’ll always remember their cute, pudgy six-month session.

Capture Baby’s Personality

Your baby is so alert at this phase and will start to show their personality by six months. Your session can be scheduled at my private Long Beach studio, at your home or even at a local playhouse. Any place that showcases your relationship with your baby and his personality works perfectly.

Get in the Photos With Your Baby

Although the focus of this session is your baby, I do encourage mom’s to participate in this session. It is the perfect opportunity to capture your bond with your child. If you are like most moms, you are the one behind the camera most days. Now, is your time to have photos that capture you and your little one together.

Document Your Baby’s Milestones

Usually, babies can smile, giggle, do tummy time, grasp toys, and lay on their backs. Babies love to play with their toes and play peek-a-boo, some babies can sit unassisted, and some are crawling. Every baby is different, and we will capture your baby’s developmental milestones.

You Will Get to See How Much They Love You

A six month old baby can melt your heart in an instant. Although your little one has loved oyu from the start, it is at this phase that your child begins to really demonstrate those feelings. Babies will kiss you, smile at you and even hug you. There is so much interaction that occurs and it really makes this type of photo session truly special.

Those Tiny Teeth

Although no mom likes the teething phase, there is something so precious about those first teeth making an appearance. I know you will want photos that capture those teeth popping out.  In a few months, your baby will have a full mouth of teeth and will look completely different.  These photos will be so precious to you.
