Spring Family Session | Long Island Maternity Photographer
Last week while driving along Park Ave, my four year old daughter suddenly shrieked, "Yay, they are back!" She was squealing in delight because the Cherry Blossoms had bloomed. I shared those same feelings of glee because this is one of my favorite times of the year. Those vibrant bubble gum colored flowers make the dreary landscape look like a brightly colored painting. These bursting blooms are a sign that Spring has arrived and a reminder to take a moment to appreciate the fragile beauty that surrounds us. If you adore bright and bold colors as much as I do, then you will love this family session that I shot under the blooms last week.
Mom booked her Spring session wth me back in November. She wanted to have family photos taken before the arrival of baby number three. I am so glad she booked with me because this gorgeous trio was a pleasure to photograph; love simply abounds in this family and I couldn't help but smile at their joy. The big sisters, Miss G and Miss C, both had bubbly personalities and were the perfect models. They were eager to talk about the arrival of their new baby brother/sister. Can we also take a moment to acknowledge how absolutely amazing mom looks in her maternity portraits? The beauty of a pregnant woman is truly unparalleled; women simply are amazing beings.
I ended this session with photos of mom and dad together. Many couples have not had their photo taken together since their wedding day. So much changes in the years that follow the nuptials, especially once you start a family and they change for the better. It is so important to document how your love for your spouse continues to flourish and grow. Before I babble on forever, here are a few of my favorite images from the session.
