Summer 2021, Please Don’t End | Lynbrook Family Photographer
I can’t believe that it is now the end of September and my 2021 season of sunset beach session, is coming to an end. I had a blast with all of the beautiful families with whom I worked this season. September is a great month to schedule a family session. The beach crowds are gone, the humidity tends to break, the weather is milder and, best of all, the sunsets are the best of the season this month. Many of my clients knew all of this and opted for a session over the last few weeks and each and every session has been spectacular.
This session was my second to last beach session of the season and it was with a gorgeous family of four. We had such a gorgeous night for a session. It was a warm 80 degree September night. There was some haze in the sky from the recent wildfires out west that caused a gorgeous pink hue in the sky and a unique sunset. It was the perfect ambiance for a family session.
Mom nailed the wardrobe and wore a stunning peach colored midi dress from Lulus and coordinated her family in hues of blue and white. Her daughter’s adorable dress was purchased at Target from the Cat and Jack line, which I find always has photo worthy outfits . I know there seems to be a trend in photography right now with rich hues on the beach, but I still prefer the softer hues that my client chose for a beach session.
As always, if the weather allows and if the family is willing and able, I like to end these sessions in the water. Typically, by this point in the session the sun is almost setting, so there is a beautiful golden glow. On this particular night, the entire sky was glowing because of the haze, causing some gorgeous pink colors in the sky.
I am sad that the 2021 season has come to an end and I look forward to next Summer. Booking for the 2022 season opens in February. Beach sessions are scheduled June to September and spots do tend to fill up quickly. If you want to know when booking opens, sign up for the newsletter.
