When our children were toddlers, we scheduled annual photo sessions to document their growth. During their tween years, many of us take a little hiatus from capturing professional photos of or children. Partly this is because of the hectic after school and weekend schedule and the other reason is because many tweens no longer want their photos taken. I know it can be a challenge, but these years are so important to capture. I put together a blog post to detail all the reasons why you should consider scheduling a teen photo session for your child.

When your children enter their teen years and as they approach their senior year, it is so important to schedule a photo session that captures the essence of who they are. While a senior photo session is super important, you do not have to wait until your child is about to graduate high school to schedule a teen portrait session. This session can be scheduled at any point in their tween or teen years. It is a great Sweet 16 gift, a thirteenth birthday idea or to celebrate any milestone in your teen’s life.
