This recent family session was a special one. My client was born and raised in New York, but moved to England a few years ago with her husband. Her family resides in Long Beach and she was home for a visit for the first time since pre COVID for a visit with her mom. While here, she wanted to do a family session on the beach and include her mom, whom she does not see often, in the session.

This family was a delight to work with. Her girls were eager participants in the session and they are beyond adorable. Mom looked stunning in her pink and white striped midi dress and the girls were in adorable matching dresses from Carters. Mom planned their wardrobe in advance, so that she had them ready to be packed for her trip.

The weather on the night of their session was one of the best Summer beach nights so far. It was warm, but breezy and comfortable on the beach. We were able to start the session along the high dunes and then segue into some fun photos along the ocean. I love that we were able to capture images of grandma with her granddaughters and also mother and daughter images. The images are so sweet and I am sure they are meaningful to all of them.

A vacation here in Long Beach is the perfect opportunity to schedule those family photos. Everyone is off from work and relaxed. The photo session gives you time to connect and unwind with your family. Here are some of my favorites from their sunset session.
